Description
Endovellico-S is an antimicrobial barrier dressing (bandage) for use in treating wounds; It consists of three layers, it is sterile, disposable, bio-degradable and soft. This antimicrobial dressing is composed of polyethylene terephthalate (PET) non-woven fabric, activated carbon (ACF) fabric, and polyethylene (PE) silver film. (Silver content <0-1 mg / cm2 or> 100ppm.)
Endovellico-S Antimicrobial Barrier Dressing maintains the wound in a semi-moisture environment, while absorbing exudate and bacteria from the wound. When the dressing comes into contact with the wound, the activated carbon fibers absorb and retain moisture in the wound while releasing the silver ions. Silver ions kill bacteria and control infection in the wound.
Endovellico-S is one of the favorite dressings for wound treatment as it is an excellent protection for superficial wounds, prevents contamination of the wound and prevents secondary damage as it does not adhere to the wound and is comfortable for the patient.
